Obsessed with LA Ink

Yup.. you heard right. It looks like Kat has gone and got herself an acting job. Here’s the details:

Detroit tattoo artist Bob Tyrell found himself cast as a zombie in George Romero’s Land of the Dead. Now, L.A.’s Kat Von D is going to one-up that with a speaking role in The Bleeding.

A bloodsucker action-horror hybrid, the film begins shooting next month with a cast that includes an array of bad-assery: Vinnie Jones, Michael Madsen, Michael Matthias (who makes his debut in Richard Kelly’s The Box), DMX and Armand Assante. Goddamn, the celluloid is going to sweat with testosterone… William McNamara and Pittsburgh Slim co-star.

Charles Picerni is directing for Indifferent Entertainment based on a script by Lance Lane. The story concerns an ex-Army Ranger and the family of vamps he goes head-to-head with during a search for those who murdered his folks.

Shooting begins next month in North Carolina. Michael Tadross Jr. is producing with exec producer Frank Capra III (The Bucket List) and co-producer Charbel Youssef.

I’m game to check out anything that has to do with Vampires… I love a good story - and I hope that with this cast (I’m an Armand Assante fan from way back… to the time he portrayed Napoleon Bonaparte… anyway… totally off the topic there). With them filming next month - I wonder if that’s just in time for the season ender for LA INK. This season has been a major rollercoaster at the shop. With Pixie leaving and her break up with Orbie… what’s next?
