Obsessed with LA Ink

I have to say that I’ve mentioned this before… and I have to say it again - Kat is on a roll - she’s everywhere and doing loads of different things.  No longer is she just a “tattoo artist”.  She designs for skateboards, has a cosmetic line, a sunglasses line,  a music/tattoo convention, does her own shirts up for the show, and now she’s putting pen to paper - or rather fingers to keyboard and writing a book.  This woman - Kat Von D is a powerhouse.  Taking full advantage of her current situation and I don’t blame her one little bit.  The business she’s in, being on TV is a fickle thing, where nothing is ever guaranteed and I think she should go full-on hardcore and expand on her current celebrity.  Absolutely - I think she’d be so dumb if she didn’t.  Thank goodness she’s not and that she has great management to help her get out there and get things done.

I’m not the only one who thinks this either - I suppose there are probably a lot of us out there who are in awe of this one woman social power-house and maybe I’ve just not seen you write about it yet either.  But I did catch a great article over at Punk in Writing where she discusses Kat Von D, Dolly Parton and Mae West as  “One Woman Empires”.  Check it out.  Pretty cool.
